Ladies’ Knight: A Female Perspective on Chess

Ladies’ Knight: A Female Perspective on Chess

The World Chess Hall of Fame, Saint Louis’ current exhibition, “Ladies’ Knight”, features two of Purling London’s Art Chess sets.  Hand-painted chess sets by Daniela Raytchev and Crystal Fischetti’s sets were amongst those selected to be in this special exhibition, which explores the subject of chess from the perspective of female artists.   Chess sets by Yoko Ono, Sophie Mattisse, Rachel Whiteread and Barbara Kruger are among the other exhibits in “Ladies’ Knight”.  The exhibition was curated by Shannon Bailey.  For more information about Ladies Knight, please visit The World Chess Hall of Fame.
